Welcome to Ellwood Community Primary School

Welcome to the web site of Ellwood Community Primary School. At Ellwood, we aim to enable children to learn and enjoy reaching their full potential in a stimulating learning environment.

We have high expectations of the pupils in our care and staff work together to provide a safe, secure, caring and happy time whilst children are pupils at Ellwood.

The school offers lots of extra activities outside of the normal school day including football, netball,  gymnastics, dance, choir, recorders to name but a few!

The school is located in Ellwood Village, a few minutes from Coleford. We are very lucky to have a lovely natural setting surrounded by lots of trees and open space. In summer, pupils can play on our large grass area and have their lunch at picnic tables in the school grounds.

The Friends of Ellwood are a body of parents and staff working together to take an active role in school life and provide a variety of events and activities which help raise additional funds to support the learning and special activities for pupils.
