I would like to extend a warm welcome to you and your family from all of us at Parkend School.  Parkend Primary is a Community School, providing education for 4 – 11 year old children.  There has been a school on this site since 1882 and the site is ideal.

It is a peaceful location - a little way above Parkend village near St. Paul’s church – a superb setting with a lovely playground, field and adventure playground in the heart of the Forest of Dean woodland.

We cater for the pupil’s spiritual, mental, social and cultural development in a warm and friendly environment where expectations are high and pupils relate well to each other.  We value parental contributions and aim to create a positive, caring atmosphere in which children develop their personalities and potential.  Parkend School is big enough to have a strong identity, yet still small enough to allow us to treat every child as an individual.
